I've been using Goode poles for years and decided to upgrade to your lightest. The grip seems a bit odd but time will tell. I love the weight and I know you can't break them.

The pole itself is very nice--slender, light, well-balanced. But, the grips are a whole other story. Perhaps they simply don't fit my hand, but I find it very hard to get a secure, comfortable grip. I think they are too small in diameter, so there is just not enough to grab onto. I am skeptical about the hook which holds the strap on--looks-fragile--and I don't really like the strap itself.

I Cant believe it took me so long to bite.
Swingweight is as good as it gets.
I'm slightly concerned about the hook that the strap attaches to.I prereleased from the pole once.
I'll never look back.

As a former racer and current ski instructor I have been using Goode's carbon poles for the past 7 years. I have found them to be the best, lightest and most durable poles that I have ever had the pleasure of using and I highly recommend Goode poles.

Great poles and interloc system is fantastic. The gloves are not wonderfully insulated and need liners for 20 degree days. An interloc mitten would be nice.
